"OKAY, FIRST THING'S FIRST, CONGRADULATIONS on making the team." Said coach Brook."Now, I need all of you to ran five laps around the field in the next twenty minutes.GO!"

Ashley and Angela started jogging, while everyone else run as fast as they could.

"Stupid gurls, don't they know they'll get tire if they ran first?"Ashley exclaim.

"I guess nawt." Angela responded."But enough of that, look who's here."

Ashley's heart gave a backflip and skipped a beat when she saw Carlos and Luis. Luis gave her a heartbreaking, croaked smile. Ashley blushed and looked away, confuse of why she was acting this way. I mean, I just met him, she thought.

By their third lap, Ashley and Angela were on the lead, while the rest of the team were fast walking and breathing very hard.

"Okay, now run up and down the bleachers twenty times." Coach said after the twenty minutes passed.

Angela pulled Ashley to the part of the bleachers that lead to Carlos, Luis, and Kelly.

"Hey," Angela said, stopping when they got to them, while Ashley just kept walking up."She's so into this." She told Luis.

"I can tell." Luis said, looking up as Ashley came back down.

"Coach's looking." Ashley told Angela as she passed them.

"Later." Angela said and followed Ashley.

"Assume your field positions." Coach said, and everyone went to their position."Pitcher throw me your best ball."

Coach brook hit the ball toward shortstop, Ashley caught, stopped gor a second and then threw it to first.

"Nice one Lopez." Coach said."I guess you're not made of hair and make up after all."

Ashley blushed again and everyone laugh.

......."Batting time." Coach said.

Everyone hit the ball in the triangle. Hardly anybody hit it outside it, and Ashley was the only one that hitted a homerun.

"I'm impress with everybody."Coach Brook said."Practive tomorrow, same time."

Ashley went to the bleachers with Angela, who went straight to Carlos, while Ashley went to her backpack and got out her powerade.

"So, where are we going?" Carlos asked.

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going home. My brother's coming todaya dn i promised my parents that I'll be nica to him, and being there when he arrives counts." Ashley said, and took a long sip of her orange powerade.

"Well, then, Ashley's house it is." Carlos said." Unless you don't want to hang out with us, you can just say that, you know."

"Oh, I know." She said." I mean, seriously, if I was shy to say no, or to make up excuse just so I wouldn't say no, I would be hanging around every single girl in ELP and the HC wouldn't exist."

She grabbed her bag and started down the bleachers.

"If you're coming, you better hurry up." She called back.
