What happened to make Myuri what it is today…
On the other side of the planet Earth, a continent larger than any on Earth’s front, exists upon its rear: the continent of Isola. Long ago, what many now know as Myuri, was called Leon, after the plentiful amount of rulers of the kingdom in the past- and present.
Leon was five times smaller than present-day Myuri- a still relatively ancient land. At that time, within King Leon V’s palace, his advisor, Stuart II appointed a man known as Alfred as his apprentice. Because of old age, Stuart II died naturally, his will stating that Alfred must take to all he had taken to, and receive all he had owned.
Now a high-ranking servant of the king, Alfred used this to find his bride: a lovely woman named Iridessa. He spotted her in the main village of Oaia, and without thinking took her to the Leon’s Imperial Garden where he forced her to marry him.
One day, Alfred was summoned to King Leon V’s throne room, where Leon explained to him that if Stuart II was still alive, he would have been appointed nobleman, thus making Alfred one himself.
Once a nobleman, Alfred was overcome by greed, and day in and day out plotted to take King Leon V’s throne. He took advantage of Leon’s old age, and realized that a single man with no offspring, one of his noblemen would have to inherit his throne. Alfred was Leon’s personal favorite, and summoned him one day a year before his death.
“Alfred, Sir Alfred, give birth to a son containing your blood, and my throne will be yours the day after my death. The day I die must be honored,” King Leon V had explained to him.
So Alfred told his wife, Iridessa, that she must give him a son, containing his blood, and the two would become king and queen of Leon. Nine months later, Iridessa gave to her husband not a son- but a daughter. Furious, Alfred drew hisdagger, ready to slay the newborn that lay resting upon his wife’s lap in the hospital, but his faithful life stopped him at the nick of time.
“We’ll name her Myuri,” said Iridessa, her eyes glistening with hope, “for dreams that don’t always come true.” That was the first term of myuri (which changed after the death of Myuri I).
At this time, every being had not veins and blood, but lived on magic. The nurses were nervous to break the news to the couple that their baby lived on veins that carried blood, but told anyways. Alfred was furious, and would have killed slew Myuri right then, if his wife hadn’t persuaded him to do otherwise just before he had.
“She’ll be a successful warrior although not a mystic,” Iridessa said to him, holding his hand tightly. “Promise me, love, even if I did leave you- this world, that you would still never slay my dear Myuri?”
“Yes, I promise, my dear Iridessa,” whispered Alfred, tears running down his cheeks at the thought of losing her.
He took Myuri with him to his apartment in the palace, and hired a nurse to nurse her throughout Iridessa’s absence at the hospital.
One day, a messenger hurried to the stressed nobleman a week later with awful word. “Your wife has passed.”
Alfred slammed the door in the messenger’s face, drew his blade, and grabbed Myuri from the hands of her nurse. He rested his blade upon the baby’s neck, and rested it there for perhaps a minute, then burst into tears. The only thing stopping him from pressing, and killing Myuri was the promise he shared with his wife a week ago, when she still lived.
Sometime later, Alfred hurried to the throne room, and fell on his hands and knees before King Leon V. “My Lord, O King Leon, I have a daughter- not a son, and a dead wife now- not a living one! But I come to plead you for your mercy, your grace, and your throne despite that.”
“All I own will be yours, Sir Alfred, for you followed my word best you could. So I shall grant you the name King of Leon!” King Leon said, smiling. A week later, Leon passed peacefully as he lay flat on his deathbed, smiling.
When his daughter turned four, Alfred hired two tutors: one for her education, and the other for fencing and combat. Truthfully, he was ashamed to bare a daughter rather than a son, so kept her secret among her people. The only Leonians aware of her existence were he and Myuri’s tutors. He was careful to make sure she was oblivious of the fact that he ruled Leon as king, so she wouldn’t expect to be known as its princess.
But when she turned eighteen, Myuri had learned more than her father expected- and more than he had wanted. While studying for an exam, Myuri discovered everything her father hoped she never would: royalty- Leon’s history, which he had hidden from her all her life. She realized that she was Leon’s rightful princess, a shame to her father’s name, and unknown to her entire country. So Myuri conspired a plan to end her father, and earn more than just the title of ‘princess,’ but queen.
She built off of her fencing/combat tutor’s lessons, and developed great skill, just as her mother had promised her unfaithful father. One day, she spoke to her father about what she could do for him.
“Lord Father, there is a way I can help you in return for all you have done for me,” Myuri explained to her father.
“Yes?” murmured Alfred, not expecting such an offer to slip from his daughter’s lips.
“I can lead your military to great success. I can prove it to you, if you allow me to rule it for only a short period,” she bargained.
Alfred was, luckily, drunk and delirious, and agreed almost right away. The next morning, Myuri appeared before him dressed as a man.
“Father,” she whispered. “I am here to lead your military to great success.”
“Very well,” Alfred mumbled, and dismissed her at once.
Myuri wasted no time, and lead her people to war against the scattered tribes forming a country that surrounded Leon, and ordered her army to slay every living human there. After an almost instant victory, she led the fearsome army to Ursu, now present-day Eurandala Province.
Two weeks had passed, and Leon had already conquered two countries. Impressed, Alfred gave the military to his daughter, as long as she vowed to never reveal her gender was female and that he was her father. She promised, and then put her plans to action.
Now the most powerful being in Leon and the most powerful figure to ever exist Leon or what would become Myuri, Myuri feared no one- including the army standing before her. She revealed to them her gender and that Alfred was her father, despite the vow she had shared with him.
Myuri lead the army to her father, without hesitation drew a dagger through his throat, only feeling regretful at his dying words: “I should have drove that blade through your throat those three times I had the chance.”
But Myuri was consoled greatly when she thrust the crown upon her father’s head onto hers. The first thing she did was summon the congress of Leon to recreate the country’s language. Myuri declared her name mean incredible warrior, to match who she was.
Myuri was greatly aware of power, but cared little of vanity due to her plain and very masculine features. She’d been born with white hair and coal eyes and never touched an article of jewelry in her life. She lived on her strength and only it. This was perhaps the chief reason of why she had myuri’sterm changed.
Even at hundreds of years old, Myuri still fought as if she was still the vibrant eighteen-year-old she once was. But she wasn’t anymore. She never thought of marriage or anything, but concentrated only on the wars she had her country engaged in. Myuri was proud to say that what once was known as Leon was now Myuri, and five time larger and more populated. She named the provinces after her favorite noble men: Corrionder (being back then, original-sized Leon), Autumnrain (being back then Bestiarai), Ra Fei (being back then Zeroni), Ara (being back then Aiila), Falarie (being back then Serberus), and Espiarus (being back then Gengaria).
Aware of her old age, Myuri endlessly thought of her father, Alfred. The man she murdered- was it for power or revenge? But she knew in some way he had to be honored. Just like King Leon V had made Alfred do, she must as well: have a child. She knew her years were limited, so acted quickly and held a grand ball at her palace (located in Corrionder).
To the surprise and dismay of all, she chose a man many years younger than her- one that was ill, frail, weak, and near his time. But she chose him for those reasons: so no one could threaten her power over Myuri.
“There’s a reason why Myuri is called Myuri,” she said to her country.
Dewhawny, the name of her husband, and her had a child of which Myuri named after herself. Unlike she had been, the baby (Myuri II) was beautiful, and Myuri I swore she would never be ashamed of her. Never.
After she left the hospital, Myuri I returned to the palace where Dewhawny had been living, poisoned his tea, and waited for dawn. She called upon a nurse and pretended to be surprised when he had no pulse.
Myuri I realized that she lived a life almost as her father had: climbing for power. She had reached the throne as queen, expanded her nation, and lived much longer. Something else their lives had in common, was raising a child on their own. But Myuri had killed her husband- out of more greed. In spite of what she had accomplished, Myuri regretted many things she had done, many actions she had commit. But there was no going back.
When Myuri II was fifteen, Myuri I passed away, her will stating that everything she possessed would belong to her daughter.
The day Myuri II came to rule, the wars currently raging for the conquering of Queeri ended, andMyuri II gave a speech to the entire continent of Isola pleading for forgiveness towards her mother’s name. Isola had never been affected so much by any woman or man alone, and lost so many countries. Countless kingdoms in the continent that still existed came together to conspire a plan to end Myuri, but decided to do otherwise when hearing the speech.
Generation after generation, Myuri I’s descendents, too, were born with blood flowing in their veins. And same for the rest of the Myurians.By 350 Y.O.E., (years of existence in Myuri) mystics and all possessing magic were extinct.
In 400 Y.O.E., a beast known as Omega I was elected to govern Corrionder and the rest of Myuri (the rest of the provinces had/have their own kings, queens, princesses, princes, noblemen, strategists, advisors, generals, officers, and army). The rest of the provinces were infuriated that they were to be ruled by a beast.
But Omega I proved himself to all the entire country, making a good name for all creatures those of the human species looked down upon. The congress of Myuri passed a law proclaiming hunting must end, and all animals of Myuri, not just humans, must be treated well.
Many people of even today in 1,000 Y.O.E. believe King Omega I was Myuri’s greatest king in history. But due to a curse he sent upon his daughter, Delia, dark figures of today were born.
On his deathbed, Omega offered his sword (said to contain magic- explaining its extreme strength) to all his 10 offspring. All explained they weren’t worthy of its grace, except selfish Delia, who hadn’t even been offered it. She craved all the strength her father had possessed and more- his throne. Omega denied her the rights to any of what he possessed when seeing her greed, and banished her from his sight. But when she continued to ask, to plead, he sent a vicious curse upon her.
“My sword will remain preserved until born hundreds of years later is a man named Darren; he will be a brave protector, with the flames of my strength burning within him. But he will come hundreds of years later, and will be justice’s right hand. But one of your descendents will be the right hand of darkness: Warren. Warren will stride for my sword; the sword Darren will possess, he will struggle for it- and never receive it. But he will come to rule Falarie, and take it out of hiatus. Warren will continue to chase the sword but will give up when he hears of my curse. The curse I have sent upon all of your descendents but Darren and his parents: Neil, and descended from you, Ella. Now you shall no longer of the beast specie, but of the human,” Omega I told her. Then he banished her from Corrionder and into the unknown, dying one day later.
Delia fled to a wood in Eurandala, where she made a journal from the bark on the trees. She recorded all her father had said to her, but swore to herself that Warren would take the sword of her father. One day, she met one of Eurandala’s chief gatherers and married him. She persuaded him to live in a cottage with her, which he quickly agreed to. The couple had two children: a son named Dwyane, and a daughter named Dinah. Delia raised Dinah herself, mostly in secrecy. She told her of all her times in Corrionder, and her beastly father that had banished her to the unknown. She told her all she had never told her husband. Two days before she passed away, Delia handed her daughter the journal where she had recorded all the events that had happened to her in Corrionder, then died.
Hundreds of years later, in 700 Y.O.E., the queen of Falarie, Isadora II, at the time and the king of Espiarus, Kert I fell in love and married. One night, Isadora turned her husband’s honor into greed, convincing him to expand his province. The two provinces Espiarus and Falarie planned together to start a war against the rest of the provinces to win their land. And one-hundred years later, in 800 Y.O.E., the two provinces struck fiercely, bringing the hardest of times to Myuri. As a pose to attacking the rest of the provinces, Espiarus and Falarie were shadowed, becoming Shadow Provinces rather than Katana Provinces (katana meaning, one who attacks only in defense). The two provinces could never become Katana Provinces again, but Tainted Provinces.
Because it was Falarie’s ruler that had conspired the plan to attack the rest of Myuri, legend says that Falarie is the birthplace of darkness, and all its beings are shadows of the night.
In 900 Y.O.E., though, Falarie vanished from the faces of the Earth- or so all believed. Later, it is discovered that the provinces fled to hide in a mountain gorge off Espiarus’s famous cliff, Louvanga.
By present-day, in 1000 Y.O.E., Falarie is found.

In that same year, four young men and women were summoned as protectors, their lives eternally changing.

This is very intersting..I'm not even to the real chapters yet but I'm loving it. I'll try and return soon to read more. It's crazy what greed can do to a person. People are way to hungry for power. That's why our world is the way it is today! You are an amazing writer..especially for being only 111 years old..I mean 11 =D
