"Natalie, when can I see you again" Chris asked pulling her in closer to her. He did't want to let her go, he never did. He rubbed the smooth bare skin on her back and kissed her lips tenderly. "Chris, I don't know. Let's just enjoy the moment" She responded kissing his chest lightly.

"Chris, make love to me"Natialie whispered in his ear, running her hands through his hair. Natalie climbed over on top of him, kissing his chest and neck, "come on"she whispered again to him.

The next morning, Natalie lay naked in an empty bed, confused and lost. She emmedietly picked up her phone and called Chris. His phone went straight to voicemail. Why was he doing this, they had just had wonderful sex and now he was gone, without a trace. She dialed the number to her boyfriend Matthew who answered on the third ring.

"Hello"his deep voice called out, "hey Matt, whatssup"Natalie responded voice cracking slightly. "Natalie, I'm in class, where are you at", "I got kind of caught up but I'll be there in time for 3rd block, alright then, love you, bye" she hung up the phone.

Everything seemed normal with him, maybe he did't know yet. Why then did Chris abandon her here, they were supposed to be partners in crime, but here she was feeling like a complete idiot. Matthew, was Natalie's boyfriend but Chris was Matthew's best friend. Chris and Natalie had been secretly seeing each other for the past two months,  but last night, they had crossed the line between just seeing each other, now they were having a full fledge affair.

Natalie quickly got dressed and rushed downstairs, there was a not on the kitchen table and it read: Natalie, I don't know how much longer we can do this. I just don't know, you are a great girl but I you are not single. What we are doing is not right to Matthew, what kind of friend would I be if I continued to let this happen.

What the hell was that supposed to mean, Natalie thought to herself balling up the letter and tossing it in the waste bin.

When Natalie arrived at school Matthew met her at her locker on his way to his next class. "Hey babe"Matthew greeted her kissing her on the cheek. "Hey, so what did I miss?" Natalie asked getting her books out of her locker and walking with Matthew down the crowded hallway. "Oh nothing really, just our mid-term exams"Matthew responded adding emphasis to MID-TERM EXAMS. "Oh my gosh, I missed them!  Damn". Matthew laughed cassually, then getting more serious, "Nat, whats been going on with you and Chris, he told me it would be best if you two stayed away from each other". Shit. He knew.
