Sunday was the day I always dreaded because I had to work the next morning. This Sunday felt a whole lot different. I sat up on my bed and thought ‘could Mike be my new love or was this just a scheme by Susie to take away my depression’. But why would Susie set me up I wasn’t depressed, I was just lonely because I had so much work to do at the office but I guess I was a little bit lonely because I needed a bit of male company.
As I was deep in thought, the door flew open. I turned around in shock. It was Susie. She came running in like a monster had just been chasing her. Before I knew it, she dived on to my bed. “What happened?” she demanded, “you didn’t come in ‘till about 7 this morning.”
“Nothing happened the way you might think it did,” I said.
“You’re lying, I know something happened Kemz and you can’t keep it away from me and you know that,” she said. She was so eager to get it out of me.
“Okay, okay we kissed and that was it,” I said.
“Oh, I am so happy for you,” she announce. Then she sat right beside me.
“I know. I know so much about him and he is so sweet and adorable and you know you were right we have so much in common, he even gave me a lift home and he is a teacher at Michael Howard,” I chattered non stop, “I can’t wait to see him again”.
“Thank God you like him I thought you would have been lonely and miserable for the rest of your life,” she said relieved.
“What do you mean lonely and miserable, I have never been miserable,” I objected.
“Yeah you have, all you could say was ‘oh I wish I was with Dan’ or if Phil did some thing wrong you would say ‘I know Dan would have never done that’. And that really did P me off,” she argued.
“I am sorry I was like that, you should have told me. I know I was lonely ‘cause you have Phil and I have memories of Dan but I couldn’t help it,” I reassured Susie.
“I know and I love you too much to just let you sit here and reminisce all the time about Dan, so that’s I why I found Mike” she explained. “Remember on Wednesday when I took the day of work to watch Phil play in his footie match, well Mike was the new player on Phil’s team that I told you about but I kept telling you that I forgot his name. Well that’s when I got all the info about him and I knew he was the one for you.”
“Thank you so much. He is so nice” I said. Then I leaned forwards towards her for a hug.
“So when are you gonna see him again?” she asked.
“I don’t know when but he did say when he wanted to see me again” I replied.
“Well pick up the phone and call you fool,” she commanded.
“But I don’t wonna rush into things,” I rejected.
“Rush. Don’t make me laugh you should have seen how he was calling me all because he couldn’t wait to see you,” she tried to convince me. The phone on my bedside chest rang. “That must be him, come-on pick it up,” she demanded. I picked up the phone.
“Hello,” I said.
“Hi Kemi, it’s Mike.” I nodded at Susie while I mimed ‘it’s him it’s him’.
“Oh hi. Thanks for the marvellous night.”
“It’s a pleasure. How are you anyway?” he asked.
“Fine thanks, and you?”
“I was tired but now I’m not because I am talking to you”.
“Oh stop it,” I demanded. He made me blush just like when we first met.
“You’re loving it really,” he spoke.
“Yeah whatever, how can you tell?” I asked.
“Because I can,” he answered.
“I was gonna call you,” I said.
“Too bad ‘cause I called you first,” he teased. He was acting as though he had known me for long; maybe because he wanted me to feel as though I could talk freely to him when I spoke to him.
“Susie told me that when she told you about me, you couldn’t wait to see me, is that true?” I asked.
“Yeah, I just wanted to know you properly instead of Susie telling me, we have loads in common and now that I have meet you, I wanna see more of you,” he explained.
“Really?,” I agreed. I was pretty shocked.
“\'Cause. So when will I see you again Kemi?”
“Next Saturday maybe,” I suggested with and enormous grin on my face.
“Okay, I’ll pick you at six,” he said.
“Yeah, that will be okay,” I agreed.
“See you then, but I will definitely call you before Saturday.”
“Yeah, so are you going footie?” I asked.
“Yeah. I am getting dressed,” he replied, “what are you doing?”
“I am still in bed, with Susie sitting beside me,” I responded. “Actually I come and watch, so I’ll meet you there,” I said.
“Okay, say hello to Susie for me. Bye,” he said.
“Yeah. Bye,” I concluded. I put the phone down then I turned around and looked at Susie.
“So what did he say?” she asked.
“He said I should say hello to you and we are going on a date next Sat,” I answered.
“Good for you and what did you say about footie?” she interrogated.
“We are meeting him there and that’s the final answer plus you need to spend some time with Phil,” I commanded.
“Gosh, you are so miserable,” she moaned.
“Urgh, don’t start with that again lazy,” I snapped.
“OH MY…” I shouted when I realised that I had knocked over my hot chocolate.
“You’re having a bad day today,” Simon interrupted. Simon was my colleague who had always worked on the desk opposite me. He was a white man very slim and tall, approximately 7ft, with blonde hair.
“I know,” I said. “It’s like I got out the wrong side of bed or something everything is just going wrong and I’ve got this banging headache.”
“I guess that’s how Monday mornings are, the worst day of the week,” he commented.
I left work at about 4:30 that afternoon and I took my normal transport by catching the tube at Oxford Street to get home. As I got to the front door at about 5:15, my phone rang. I looked at the screen and it said I had a text. I pressed the read button on the phone. It was a text from Mike. It read: Hi Kemi. How are you? Just finished work and I am on the way home. I can’t wait to see you on Saturday. Text back if you can. Mike. A smile sprung onto my face. It felt like a bit of the stress had been lifted. I put the phone in my pocket, inserted the key in to the key whole, turned it and enter the house. Susie was not in as she normally came home later because she was a midwife and her shift didn’t finish until about seven in the evening. I made my way up the stairs slowly. Entered my room, dropped my bag on the floor, took off my shoes and collapsed on the bed on my back. My feet felt a bit sore. My mind was completely blank. I lay there for a few minutes just staring at the ceiling. I turned my head to the right. Then I suddenly visualised Mike lying right beside me smiling. I dipped my hands into my pocket to get my phone, turned over to lie on my stomach and I started to text him. Hi Mike. Thanks for the text. I am so stressed out and tired. I just got back from work a few minutes go. How are you anyway? I can’t wait to see you too. Kemi. I got up, got changed into a grey shirt and grey jogging bottoms and I went down stairs to grab something to eat. I walked over to the living room. I sat down and switched on the TV. A few hours later Susie came in. She was late than usual. She was dressed in her blue nurse uniform.
“Hi Kemz,” she said as she walked over to the chair.
“Hi Suz,” I replied. “How was work?”
“It was like normal, women screaming in pain, babies crying and a man even collapsed,” She answered.
“What about you?”
“Well my head hurts a bit and things were just awful at work. Today just isn’t my day, I kept knocking things over and stuff,” I replied back. “How comes you’re late? Did you go over to Tesco to see Phil or something?”
“Yeah I did and he is coming over later on tonight,” she responded. “You know, to give me a bit of loving”. She smiled as she wiggled on the spot.
“Good for you but you two better not be getting affectionate in front of me,” I warned.
“Don’t worry we will,” she laughed.
“Oh yeah Mike sent me a text,” I said.
“What\'d it say?” she asked as she walked over to the couch.
“He said he couldn’t wait ‘till Saturday,” I answered.
“And did you reply?” she questioned.
“Of course I did,” I replied. Suzie walked slowly towards the stairs.
“Well that’s good because if you didn’t you would be spoiling your chances of finding a man who loves you,” she said as she made her way up stairs. Her voice became louder and louder as she went higher and higher up the stairs. “I’ll be up stairs if you need me!” she shouted.
“Yeah,” I shouted back. Then I realised what she had said about Mike loving me. Does he love me? We had only known each other for just two days.
As the days went by, Mike and I were communicating with each other more frequently that on Friday, I had sent him about 15 texts and called him about 10 times. We spent so long chatting on the phone and our conversations became more passionate.
On Saturday, I started to feel a bit ill. It may have been just down to nerves. Although it wasn’t the first time that we were on a date, I just knew that this was the date that could decide whether or not we were going to take this relationship any further.
At 5’o’clock, I was in my room with Susie deciding what to wear. Susie was sat on my bed and I was standing in front of my wardrobe searching for some clothes. I pulled out a my favourite pair of dark blue jeans which were loose, a black top that Susie bought me for my birthday last year and a dark blue coat to match the trousers. “You are not wearing that,” Susie said.
“Then what else am I going to wear?” I asked as I turned around.
“Can’t you wear something a bit more appealing,” Susie recommended.
“Like what exactly?” I questioned.
“Hang on a sec,” Susie said. She ran out the room. I knew exactly what she was going to do. “Wear this,” she suggested. She came back and showed me a red skirt about knee length, a black crop top and a red scarf. “I know you don’t like skirts but wear this one anyway, wear the crop top, you know, to look fashionable and the scarf to cover the upper parts of your body that you don’t want to reveal,” she explained.
“I can’t wear that Suz!” I refused “I’ve gotta be myself”.
“Okay, but remember I offered, so don’t come crying to me if he doesn’t like what you’re wearing,” she warned.
“Don’t worry I won’t,” I said.
“By the way do you need any make up?” she asked as I started to get dressed.
“No I don’t, I’ll just use Vaseline on my lips,” I replied.
“You have to look good you know,” she said.
“So are you trying to say that I don’t look good?” I roared.
“No Kemz. You know what I mean? You just have to impress him as he would want to impress you,” she advised.
“Yeah, you are right but I just don’t want to wear make up,” I said. “Like I said before, I’ve gotta be myself.”
“Anyway I’ll be downstairs waiting for Phil to come,” she said. She walked out the room and went downstairs. About ten minutes later I was fully dressed with black shoes on; I put my keys in my back pocket and my phone in the front pocket of my trousers and made my way downstairs. Phil was sitting on the couch with Susie, watching TV. Phil was about 5ft 9. He had a well-built body. He had short brown hair and a slightly deep voice.
“Hi Phil,” I said as I walked over to the couch.
“Hi Kemi,” he said as he got up to kiss me on my cheek. “Looks like you are set for the date then.”
“Yep. He should be here any moment from now,” I uttered with a smile on my face. A few minutes later the doorbell rang.
“That must be him,” Susie said. She ran over to the door and opened it. “Hi Mike,” she said.
“Hi Susie,” Mike said. She kissed him on the cheek. “Is Kemi ready yet?” he asked. I could hear them from the door.
“Yeah she is I’ll get her, by the way Phil\'s here,” she said. “Come in.” She turned round and looked in the direction of where Phil and I were sitting. “Kemz, your man’s here.” Phil got up then I did. He walked over to Mike.
“Hey, Mike,” Phil laughed.
“What’s up?” Mike said and they shook hands.
“Nothing just came to keep my girl company,” he replied. I went up to him. He was wearing a pair of blue denim jeans with a white shirt with the first two buttons undone and a pair of black shiny shoes. He had his hands behind his back holding onto something.
“Hi Mike,” I said. I planted two kissed on his cheeks.
“These are for you”. He handed me a big bunch of flowers. They were so colourful.
“They’re lovely,” I said. My feminine side came out. I normally hated getting flowers but somehow I accepted these. I kissed him on the cheek again. “Well I think we should go now,” I suggested. Mike and I walked over to the door to leave, with Phil and Susie behind us. We turned around.
“I guess we will be see you two later,” Mike said.
“I better take away the flowers and put them in some water Kemi,” Susie offered. I was holding on to the bouquet tightly that I forgot about the flowers dying.
“Oh… yeah, yeah, yeah,” I said as I remembered about the flowers. “Bye then,” I said as I started to walk off towards Mike’s car, Mike followed behind.
“Bye,” shouted Phil and Susie and then they bursted out laughing and closed the door. As I got the door of the front passenger’s seat, Mike ran in front to overtake me.
“Let me help you with that,” he offered. He reached over to open the door. I moved his hand away and looked up at him.
“No Mike, don’t open the door for me, I’ll do it myself. You know I’m not that type of girl,” I said.
“Can’t I just do it this time? I\'m just trying to be a gentleman. And I promise I won’t do it again,” he said as he opened the door with a smile on his face. I grinned with a slight nod. I got into the car, then he closed the door and I put my sit belt on. He then ran round the front of the car to the other side. He opened the door, sat down then he closed the door. “Ahhh,” he said as he exhaled.
“So what’s the plan?” I asked as I looked in his direction.
“Well I booked the table for 6:45,” he replied. He looked at his watch. “We have about 35 minutes left, so I thought we could go for a walk in the park or something, but if you don’t, we can do something else.”
“No, that’s good I would love a walk in the park,” I agreed with a smile on my face. As soon as I finished my statement he started the engine of the car and drove off. A few minutes later were reached the park. He then parked the car and we got out. We walked side by side. “You know that walking in the park at this time in the evening is so romantic?” I said as we walked slowly through the park.
“Yeah. I know. It’s dark, quiet, peaceful and you can watch the sunset with someone you love,” he said in the softest voice I had ever heard him speak in. There was a moment of silence. Was he trying to put a point across? We were in a park that was dark, quiet peaceful and the sun was at its final stage of setting. The only thing missing was ‘being with someone you love’. Was I someone he loved? Did I love him?
10 minutes later we set of to go to the restaurant. It was a Chinese restaurant. We sat at the table for 2 by the window. We both ordered one crispy spring roll each and for our main course we both order one plate of special fried rice. We sat there eating and laughing for ages and we spoke about all things. “You know you might thing I didn’t noticed you but you look great,” he complimented. “Most of the girls I’ve dated normally wear mini-skirts and show off to attract men, but you’re different.”
“Thanks,” I said. “There is something special about you too.” I placed both of my elbows on the table; I interlocked my fingers and rested my chin on it. I looked him in the eye.
“And what is that?” he asked as he but his spoon down and focused on me.
“Well you are the only boy that has made me feel happy in years and that was only in the period of a week. Imagine how much happiness you\'d bring in a year or more. It would be ‘Blissfully sweet’,” I said. Then I realised what I’d just said, ‘Blissfully sweet’. That was what Dan and I use to say. We were the only ones that used to say it to each other and now I’ve gone and said it to Mike. I must be falling for him. Am I really prepared to fall in love again? Am I really prepared to forget about Dan and let a new man come into my life?
“Blissfully sweet,” Mike grinned as he tried to adapt to the word.
We carried on eating until about 8:15. Mike called the waiter over. “How much is the bill?” Mike asked.
“£8.50 please,” the waiter replied in his Chinese accent. Mike took out his wallet and took out a £10 note.
“Mike don’t worry I’ll pay,” I said and I dug my hand into one of my pockets to get some money out.
“No I’ll pay, after all I took you out,” he argued.
“Are you sure?” I asked.
“Yeah of course, I’m the one who brought you out,” he answered. He gave the waiter the money. The waiter walked off to get some change.
“You should have let me pay you know,” I moaned.
“Well its too late now. I have,” he said with a smirk on his face. The waiter came back with the change.
“Thank you and good night,” the waiter said. We stood up and walked out of the restaurant. He drove us back to my house and parked in front. We sat in the car. There was an awkward silence, which sent a shiver down my spine.
“Kemi. I have been wanting to tell you something that has been bugging me for so long,” Mike uttered softly. I looked at him and I thought about what he could be talking about.
“Yeah go on, tell me,” I said with deep concern. What could have been bugging him? What had I done wrong in such a short period of time of knowing each other?
“I’m not sure how you are going to take this but I have liked you a lot ever since Susie was telling me about you, but when I saw you and got to know more about you I knew that there was had something. I thought to myself ‘I’ve only known you for a week and I can’t be so into you’ but I realised I am. I do really like you and I - I want to be with you,” he explained as though he was slowly searching for the right words to use, “when you said in the restaurant that I was the only man that has made you happy for years, that meant so much to me and I want to make you happy for the rest of your life Kemi, make our life together ‘Blissfully sweet’.”
There was a pause. He said that word again but it felt right that he was saying it. “Do you want me as much as I want you Kemi? You can make me happy by being with me.” I looked straight ahead of me and I thought to myself, isn\'t he moving too fast? I do like him too and now he is declaring his affection to me I want him even more. He held my hand. “Kemi think about it please, you don\'t have to give me an answer tonight, I can wait.”
I didn’t say anything. I turned around to look at him. We stared at each other. The atmosphere became so intense in the car. Then suddenly I moved in towards him for a kiss. My lips pressed against his softly while I raised both my hands and placed each of them on each of his cheeks. Then I withdraw my lips away but not my hands.
“Mike, you know what the answer is,” I said. The expression on his face was like he had failed an important mission. “I like you too, I really, really like you.” He grinned. He slowly took his hands on mine and wrapped them around his neck. He stretched out his right arm and placed his hand on my hips and did the same with his left. He pulled me closer slowly. Our lips pressed against each other once again, so soft and unhurriedly. We ended up snogging. We held each other so close. We caressed each other so carefully. It was so amazing. It was so strange how he knew my sensitive spots. It felt like he was luring me into a place where I couldn’t think of anything except how much I wanted him. We ended our snog with a kiss and I sat there and smiled at him. “That was nice,” I sighed. We sat there for a good hour talking about whatever we could, as the thought of letting the night end was simply mental. I guess this was the beginning to something special.
Months went by so quickly. Mike and I went on a date every week. We didn’t only go to restaurants; we went to the park for picnics and he would sometimes spend the evening at mines or I would spend the evening at his. We even went clubbing at Club Tric together with Susie and Phil. Spending time with him was like taking a trip so far away, where no one would bother me and I could forget all the problems I had. Everyday my love for Mike grew stronger and stronger and my thoughts of Dan decreased.
Work was normal today, just the ordinary typing, printing, answering phones & sorting out documents. It was a Friday and I was so happy because I really couldn’t wait to get home and relax. As usual I took the Victoria Line from Oxford Circus to Highbury and Islington. As I walked out of Highbury and Islington Station, I felt someone grab my arm. I was so shocked. There was not any tension or anything. Then suddenly a man’s voice, “hi babe.” I recognised the voice. It could only be Mike. I turned around.
“Don’t do that,” I warned. “You scared the hell out of me.”
“Sorry Kay, I just wanted to surprise you,” he explained. I leaned over for a kiss. Over the months he has seemed to fall in to the habit of calling me \'Kay\'. No one really called me that, but that was his special way of calling me.
“So what are you doing here anyway, thought you were supposed to be at work?” I asked.
“I came to pick up my girl,” he answered. We began to walk towards his car.
“What do you mean pick me up?” I asked again.
“Yeah, we’re going out,” he answered. I thought to myself what was he talking about? Where could we be going? How comes I don’t know anything about it?
“I don’t get it, for dinner?” I said very puzzled. “It\'s only 5, why the rush?” We arrived at the car and got in.
“You are spending the weekend with me,” he said.
“I don’t remember saying anything about spending the weekend at yours,” I uttered.
“I know,” he said as he started the engine. “You don’t know anything about it. I just want you to be all mine for the weekend.”
“But I can’t go. I don’t have anything with me. I need to go back home to get clothes and my tooth brush and stuff,” I moaned.
“It’s all sorted. I left work early to meet Susie at work. I got the keys off her and packed a few things into a bag. I took everything you could possibly need. So there’s no need to worry.” He explained. A grin appeared onto my face. It felt like I was being whisked away by my charming prince. There was so much glee inside me. I sat up straight and made myself more comfortable.
“So where are you taking me anyway?” I requested.
“Kay, It’s for me to know and for you to found out,” he replied while he was concentrating on the road. Not having a clue about where we were going made me even happier and I really couldn’t wait to get there. I observed the places we pasted on the way to our destination. We ended up going back to central London. It was around 6:00pm and it was sort of dark outside. The West End looked so beautiful; the city lights were on and people were roaming the streets of London like they had no where to go. “Almost there,” Mike reassured. Mike stopped the car. I was so surprised at where he stopped; The London Savoy Hotel. “Here we are,” Mike said as he stopped the engine. A smartly dressed chauffeur opened the door for Mike and another opened the door for me. I was so stunned that I couldn’t talk. Mike went to the back of the car to get the luggage out and two porters took the luggage away from Mike as soon as Mike put them on the floor.
“Is that all sir?” one chauffeur said in a posh accent.
“Yeah,” Mike replied and gave him the keys. The porters carried the luggage into the bright 5-star hotel. I ran up to Mike, put my arms around him and we made our way into the hotel. The insides was so vivid, there was so many chandeliers handling from the ceiling. I held on to Mike’s hand firmly and walked beside him closely. There were so many people walking around in the lobby. We got to the reception where Mike requested for the key to our room. We took the lift to the 6th floor and went into the 3rd door on the left. No. 25. The porters that were carrying our luggage followed us. We entered the room. Mike gave the men that accompanied us their tip. The porters put the luggage aside by the wall and left the room closing the door gently behind them. I ran to the centre of the room and slowly rotated on one spot, observing the room carefully. I had never stayed at such a place before. I was not surprised about how immaculate the room was but how the furniture in the room was arranged, the tranquillity of the room and how everything in the room, which were all brown and cream, blended together. But why should I have been surprised, after all this was a 5-star hotel.
Mike walked over to the window and looked out. “Look what we have here,” he said in order to attract my attention towards the window. I took off my coat, threw it on to the sofa and walked over to the window Mike was standing at.
“Wow,” I said as looked out. My eyes were wide opened. I could see the whole of central London. Many of the lights in the building as well as the streetlights were on. This was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I slid the door opened and went onto the balcony to get a better view. The most enormous smile appeared on my face. Mike slowly came out and wrapped his arms around me. It felt so romantic. So much emotion filled up inside me. I felt so happy, happier than I had ever been before.
I knew Mike was the one. I turned around and looked at him. “How did you…” he pressed his finger against my lips. We gave each other the most intense eye contact we had ever given each other. I held both of his hands. In my head I knew just what I wanted to say but I feared what his reaction would be. Everything just felt right; he definitely brought me here for a reason. “I don’t like you no more Mike,” I spoke gently. “And I don’t want you no more,” a tear came down my eye. His face looked confused. “Michael Davies,” I paused. I took one big gulp. “I love you more than anything in the world,” my voice started to weaken, “I want you more than anything in the world and I need you more than anything in the world. It takes people a long time to find the one they love but I’m lucky ‘cause I’m only 23 and I’ve already found you.” More tears came down my eye and I held his hand so tightly. I was now totally prepared to forget about Dan forever. “Like you said before our love will be blissfully…” Mike stopped me from continuing by placing his index finger softly on my lips again.
“Sweet,” he finished off my sentence. “I know. You are the one Kemi, the utmost person that has ever entered my life.” He slowly removed his finger from my lips, moved closer to me and we started to kiss. I placed his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. We started of snogging slowly and then it started to become more rapid. While we were still snogging he stopped and said, “don’t do that again,” then he kissed me. “I thought you were gonna…” he kissed me again, “say that…” there was another kiss. Then I stopped.
“We were over,” I finished. “Never!” I opposed. We started to snog again. The feeling inside me was so compelled. I had never been so excited before. We sidestepped slowly over to the bed and fell on it. It was so soft. He stopped again took off his coat and threw it on the sofa where mine was, took off my shoes then his shoes in less than five seconds and then we carried on snogging again.
1½ hours later we were under the covers, just messing about. We just spent a lot of time forplaying. He knew how I felt about sex before marriage and he always said that he was fine with it. But I\'ve always felt that I was depriving him of something he has the right to have. “Mike I am so sorry.” I apologised.
“What for?” he asked with a puzzled face.
“Well this was supposed to be a special weekend for us and I am gonna ruin it because I can’t even entertain you…you know… in sexual way but you understand don\'t you?,” I answered struggling to look at him directly in his eye.
“You’re not gonna spoil the weekend, it’s not important if you don’t entertain me in sexual way. You being here and looking at you is more entertaining than anything else,” he said as he lifted my right hand and kissed the back of it softly.
“Stop joking about!” I warned.
“I’m not joking. It’s true. I’m not the sort of man that only wants sex. It’s the love in a relationship that counts. This weekend is special because it’s our first weekend alone together and you make it even more special because you are here sharing this bed with me, if I didn’t really love you then I wouldn’t be here, there wouldn’t even been a ‘you and me’. We can’t always have everything that we want…I can wait,” he explained.
“You always have the answers to everything Mike,” I complemented.Oh, how luck was I? “What did I do to deserve you? You’re too good to be true.”
“I don’t need reminding,” he laughed.
“Oh my gosh!” I laughed too as I pushed him and we carried on messing about.
As I woke up the next morning, Mike was awake resting his hand on his head while staring at me. He smiled. “Morning beautiful,” he said.
“Good morning handsome,” I replied wiping my eyes.
“How long have you been awake for?” I asked.
“Only about half an hour, you’re awful snoring woke me up,” he replied.
“Oh, shut up!” I shouted as a picked up the brown pillow and smacked it onto Mike’s head.
“Okay, okay,” he howled as he tried to defend himself. “I just woke up and I laid here staring at you sleeping peacefully. You don’t really snore.” I kissed him on his lips and lay back onto my back. He moved closer to me and he wrapped his arms around me. “So what do you wonna do today?” he question.
“Anything I don’t really mind,” I responded.
“Well,” he suggested. “We don’t have to go anywhere, after all everything I need is here and so are you.” I smiled at him. I was searching for love and it’s finally come my way. Could life get any better?
