I looked up from my book as soon as my room door crept open. In he walked, his shirt housing several red splotches, his brown hair disheveled and distributed all over his head.
"Geez, what happened to you?" I asked.
He shot me an angry look then proceeded further into the room, towards the phone.
"What, Did you kill someone?" I said laughing.
Before I could blink he had crossed the room, his face just inches from mine. I could feel the anger in his voice as he spoke.

I looked up from my book as soon as my room door crept open. In he walked, his shirt housing several red splotches, his brown hair disheveled and distributed all over his head.

"Geez what happened to you?" I asked.

He shot me an angry look then proceeded further into the room, towards the phone.

"What, Did you kill someone?" I said laughing.

Before I could blink he had crossed the room, his face just inches from mine. I could feel the anger in his voice as he spoke.

"That..." he said "Is not funny."

Then he was gone.

I went into the kitchen, brushing off the explosive episode that happened just moments before. I quickly realized it was going to be awkward as I observed that he was leaning against the counter, staring at me with squinted eyes. I silently headed over to the refrigerator trying my best to ignore his stare. When I turned around, he was there. I could actually feel the tickle of his breath upon my face. I never realized how beautiful his eyes were. It was like I was delving into a sea of green. I felt hypnotized, my face got closer to his by the second. Our skin touched, and I jerked back. He laughed darkly then grabbed the keys that were dangling from my pocket.

"I'm going out. Don't wait up."

"What? Those are my keys."

He shrugged and nodded.

"Well what happened to your car?"

The floor creaked as he moved towards me then brushed my cheek with his lips.

"Nothing at all."

"Okay...?" I was completely confused.

The next morning I awoke with a shiver noticing that the window was open. That scared me a little but I didn't think anything serious of it. I heard something move behind me and turned frantically. Nothing.

"Wow. I have to got to stop being paranoid." I whispered to myself.

"I agree."

I gasped. Chris was in my bed snuggled up to a pillow. It looked as if he'd been there for hours.

"What are you doing?" I asked, slightly relieved.

"Sleeping. Now if you don't mind," he said motioning me over to the bed. "I need some human warmth over here."
