Stupid Cupid - Mandy Moore

.:. Summer's P.O.V .:.

"You're mad at me" said Raymond more of a statement than a question as I lied on his living room couch with my head on his lap while he massaged the root of my hair.
"You made a promise to him" I said in a whisper as I gazed at the living room window "It's not your fault".
"You look tired" said Raymond as I sighed.
"No, I was just thinking" I said.
"About?" he asked as I rolled my eyes and sat up.
"None of your business really" I said as he chuckled and I rolled my eyes.
"You know, Landon was a tough guy to compete with" said Raymond "He really loved you".
"And you don't?" I asked.
"No, I do" he said in a duh tone.
"Than there's nothing to worry about" I said as he smirked.
"You know what I noticed?" He said putting his arms around my waist and pulling me closer to him "We never have been on an actual date".
"Yeah, everything happened…fast" I said realizing how weird that was.
Suddenly Jessica walked in the living room and looked at both of us surprised.
"Interrupting something?" asked Jessica raising an eyebrow.
"As a matter of fact you are" said Raymond as I stood up "What are you doing here anyway? I thought you were at your friend's house for some time".
"Her parents kicked me out" said Jessica walking to me than sitting right next to Raymond on the couch and I stood in front both of them "So what did I interrupt? Were you guys finally going third base?".
I looked at her in disbelief than rolled my eyes because I wasn't surprised that Jessica would think that.
"Not all girls are easy like you" said Raymond sarcastically as I chuckled.
"Didn't seem to bother you" said Jessica smirking as I felt uncomfortable from the whole situation.
"Summer, do you wanna leave?" asked Raymond standing up.
"Was I making that clear?" I said sarcastically as he nodded and pulled me away.

.:. Ronnie's P.O.V .:.

I don't know why I told Ronnie that I liked her, why I gave her a glimpse of hope for something that will never happen. I know I'm dying and now I'm doing exactly the opposite of the 'right thing to do', it's like now that I know death is coming for me I've gone mad, I just wanna know WHY I know that I'm gonna die, I wanted death to be sudden to me…Maybe that's the reason, maybe because I want it I won't have it.
I sighed as I lied on my bed reading Landon's diaries. I've had enough of everything going on. I just needed to get away for some time.
I sighed and jumped of my bed. I walked downstairs to the living room and got surprised when I saw pregnant Jessica sitting there on the couch eating nachos while watching T.V.
"Jessica?" I said surprised as she looked at me and smiled.
"Hey Ronnie" she said while eating more nachos.
"Where's Summer and Raymond?" I asked as she rolled her eyes.
"Why is it always about Summer?" said Jessica confused "Ok, I get that her stupid friend died but seriously get over it, I'm PREGNANT".
"Stupid friend?" I said in disbelief.
"Yeah, that Landon kid" said Jessica carelessly "He never talked to anyone but Summer and never hung out with anyone but her, it's so weird".
"She was his best friend since before birth" I said defensively.
"I don't care, ok?" said Jessica "I'm pregnant and I can't even get some attention from the guy that's pretending to be my baby's father because of her".
"Jessica?" I said as she looked at me confused "Shut the fuck up".
Her mouth dropped as she looked at me in disbelief and I walked out through the front door.

.:. Raymond's P.O.V .:.

"Stupid cupid, stop picking on me" sang Summer drunk as we walked in the forest strangely I was sober so I can watch over her "You got me jumping like a crazy clown And I don't feature what your putting down Since I kissed his loving lips of wine The thing that bothers me is that I like it fine Hey hey set me free Stupid Cupid stop picking on me".
"Ok enough" I said putting my hand on her mouth as she giggled "You said the chorus 25 times so far".
She moved my hand away "I like this song".
"Me too but lets face it…You have a terrible voice" I said as she giggled and I smiled "This should be the other way around".
"Yes but when you get drunk you turn crazy" she laughed before almost tripping but holding on to a tree.
"And you're not crazy right now?" I asked raising an eyebrow as she laughed shaking her head.
"Dude, take advantage of this" she laughed walking closer to me "We're all alone in the forest and I'm drunk".
"Which means we should probably go home" I said as she shook her head and held my shirt's collar.
"Lets get to third base, Raymond" she said as I laughed.
"Summer, you're not Jessica" I said "I'm not gonna rush into things like an idiot this time".
"It's not rushing" she whined "I know you for three years".
"Seriously, I can't resist if you keep begging" I said as she smirked like she got an idea "but in the end I won't do it".
"Why?" she whined as I laughed in disbelief.
"Because…If I do it, you're gonna wake up next day regretting it because you can't remember it or maybe because you didn't want to" said Raymond "But lets face it, obviously you do".
"I really do" she said laughing before she fell on her back "Man, it looks like there's an earthquake".
"Yeah, that's why you fell" I said sarcastically as she giggled.
"I love you Raymond" she said as I helped her stand up.
"I know" I said as she tried to kiss me but I moved away from the smell "Jeez Summer, what were you drinking?".
"Something obviously strong" she said as I chuckled.
