“That’s the deal.” Cameron told the new guy, who was standing there looking scared out of his mind and uncertain, his eyes all wide, the color of his face suddenly becoming very pale while Cameron just stood there, an evil smirk on his face.
Scarlett chuckled under her breath, nodding her head in pity as she watched Cameron intimidate the frail and plain guy, giving him his signature stare.
“Uhh…Okay.” The guy told Cameron his eyes still pretty wide, his voice coated with fear and uncertainty.
Cameron looked at the guy, a smirk on his face testing how far he could go and Scarlett just nodded her head, pitying the poor guy who seemed to not have the slightest idea what mess he was getting himself into but she made no attempt to stop Cameron and just like him she was eager to see if the guy was actually something.
The color of the kid’s face if possible seemed to become another lighter shade of white making him ghost-like but scared nevertheless.
“Well then, let’s see if you are actually something.” Cameron told him, his dark green eyes penetrating the kid’s dark brown eyes and Cameron reached into his pocket and pulled out a Swiss army knife and handed it to him.
That was when Scarlett knew she had to stop Cameron.
Stop him before he made the kid do something really ridiculous –not to mention, dangerous- and get punished or worse expelled.
Of course no moron would actually be stupid enough to rat out Cameron or anyone else from the gang unless they had a serious death wish.
And it wasn’t like the authorities had any hard proof that Cameron was behind it making it virtually impossible to blame him only knowing that the possibilities of someone else doing it to imitate him were endless.
“Cam,” she told him trying to sound seductive putting on of her hands on his chest and slowly pushing him a bit back, “leave the kid alone. We could be doing something more fun y’know.”
It seemed to work since Cameron’s eyes darkened with lust and he looked away from the kid and smirked playfully saying, “why not?”
“No, wait” the kid said his voice nervous but a new confidence coating it and Scarlett turned around to tell the kid to shut up but when she saw what he was going to do her mind just reacted.
“No wait!” she shrieked repeating the same words that he had just said a few seconds ago, her voice at a hysteric pitch as she jumped at him trying to stop him.
It was too late though.
It was already done.
