All This Time (COMPLETED)

Another day for work...

Its been six months since Joe started getting lazy starting her day waking up – alone. Having breakfast all by herself, watching “their” favorite cartoon tv show alone, running errands without anyone to help her with . It's been eight months but it seems like eternity for her. The pain is excruciating and the memory still lingers in the four corners of her flat as if the incident just happened yesterday. How could she ever forget that day., the day her world shattered into million pieces.

“Peaches I'm so sorry.,I could have prevented it from happening. I'm so stupid and selfish ..” Drew held out his hand after Joe pulled out an envelope containing the sonography result of his 5 months baby, then there's the electric bills, cable bills, house monthly amortization receipt..etc.

“Don't you dare call me that fuckin' term of endearment!I'm your peaches no more!” Joe burst out crying as she struggle from Drew's arm embracing her , pleading for forgiveness. That's all he could ask from Joe now, forgiveness. He can never have her back. Never did he realized it will get into this point to loose the woman who gave her everything.

They've been together since their junior years, finished university and post-graduate work and began their career as a professional. He was also in university but struggling to complete his studies. Joe encouraged and helped him to finish university and pursue further studies that he was interested in.

During those days that they were together, he never had a job, until she started to help him and encourage him to look for work and build his own career. It finally worked and he got a job as a graphic designer, moved out of his parent's home and eventually move in with her, she thought he had become independent.

The vision of their relationship has always been clear. She could see their future perfectly. Have a life they always dreamed of, bring up their children together , build a family.

She was not just a girlfriend to him, but she was a best friend, a confidant, a guider. She did everything for him emotional support,guidance,financial support when he needed it. She loved him with all her heart and would have done anything for him. But at some point, She felt that things changed in their relationship.

After sixl ong years the dream turns into nightmare.

She's now yelling at him at the top of her lungs. Drew throw himself to the couch and covered his face, ashamed of what he has done he's now caught red handed there's no option left but to admit the truth. He's been hookin' up with someone else behind her back for years now!

“Lately you've been pulling away and demanding more space. You've became evasive about your schedule it's seems like your withdrawing away from me..sneaking out to take phonecalls, being protective over your phone, i'm not so blind not to see and feel it” Joe's voice is shaking she's speaking and crying in between. She cannot contain her anger anymore, she's letting it all out. The entire week of investigating , contemplating and gathering information, proof and facts that he is cheating has been the most miserable week of her life. She felt like the worse person ever. She eagerly seeks for the truth that turns her world upside down.

Andrew remained silent. Tears flowing down his cheeks. Sign of conceding.

And to Joe it's a sign of defeat.

She finally knelled down tired of everything that is happening. “ I trusted you , I gave you everything, I surrender my everything, isn't enough Andrew?”muttering those words to herself with a faint sob as if loosing her sanity. “ It's over, long before I notice it, ” She bite her lip then shake her head. “ Maybe you became tired of my mood swings, my messy habits, my selfish needs., am I a control freak,am I such nag Drew?”

“No Joe don't think of it that way, It's not you, it's me ” There you go, the famous break-up line of all time. Translation: "It's not me; it's you."

“ It takes two to tango Andrew, you've been hookin' up behind my back. Was it my miscarriages? I know you long for your own children too much, but you could have ask me to take a leave so we could try again but look what you've done?

"I still care about you." duh, whatever!Translation: "Please don't tell your friends I'm a jerk."

She knew who she was, it was a year ago when they decided to enroll into a fitness program at a gym downtown.

Amy, his personal fitness instructor. She looks like a rejected aspiring hot super-model with a face of an angel soon to be a home wrecker! Funny she didn't notice how they stare at each other. How gently she touches him with every instruction she's giving. How gleefully he goes to the gym almost everyday though his tired as hell from his work reasoning out that he needs to be back in shape.. Joe was just so complacent she never knew that their six years relationship is coming to an end.

She can't believe it's happening. Trying to collect herself she walked with heavy foot inside their room, packed most of his belongings and throw them outside her flat.

“It's always me since the beginning, how could I be so fool to let six wonderful years of my life pass and spend it to someone whose not worth it, How could I have been so wrong about someone? ”. She breathed heavily gaining the strength to end it.

“I couldn't lose something I never had"

"Off you go Andrew, take your shit out of here and leave there's no reason for you to stay here, for us to be together, she needs you., your child needs you.” Tears flooding her face.
