Prologue
It’s not as though she has anything against the guy- she doesn’t. She’s never even met the person or had any type of contact with him what so ever. She just doesn’t see the point in sitting on a packed bus for two hours, only to stand for another two hours in a crowded line with people pushing and shoving to get someone to write their name on a piece of paper.
Then, like always, the bus will be packed on the way back and she’ll have to stand again, wait an hour for the next one to arrive or get a taxi back when she shouldn’t even have to be there in the first place.
She should be at home, studying for her exams which are in two days. It’s not like she wants to fail-who does? She studies. Well, maybe she could study a bit harder but it’s not her fault Jones has it in for her and purposely gives her questions she doesn’t know the answers to. She could study a whole chapter and know it off by heart but just to annoy her Jones would change the chapter to study the day before the test. He’s done it before and she has no idea why he seems to dislike her so much.
Jenny has been begging her for the past month ever since she found out he’d be here, signing autographs for his latest movie her friend has seen hundreds of times. She herself hasn’t seen it yet and isn’t planning to anytime soon. She keeps telling Jenny no, she has to study and other excuses because she doesn’t want to go, and Jenny finally stopped asking her.
That definitely explains why she has been waiting in line for the past hour and thirty five minutes for his autograph.
