I ate my breakfast slowly, not ready to start the school day. Erik busted down the front door and Devi, and Derek all tailed in behind him. Why did Erik always have to make some kind of entrance, especially in the morning? It was too early to bust things.

“You are going to fix that, right?” I asked Erik as he strolled into the kitchen, taking the seat right next to mine.

“Yeah yeah, Neal will get it.” He chuckled.

I sighed and looked at Devi who took the chair on the right side of me.

“Where is Sam?” I asked Devi. Sam was her mate from Mason’s little pups. Sam was also the Beta like Devi was my Beta.

“Where is Mason?” She shot back with a smile. Mason was my Mate and also the alpha male.

“Eh, up his dad’s-” Neal gave me a dirty look and I giggled.

“Are you ready to go to school?” Derek asks

“Or we can skip.” Devi suggested.

“Not a good idea, pumpkin.” Erik says, “The Elders have been far up our asses about the alpha’s and school. Besides the humans get suspicious on how we are always together.”

“They are too scared to even ask or wonder.” Devi rolls her eyes. “Chickens, they are.”

“Well let’s get to school.” I hop up out of my seat and ran to the sink with my bowl of cereal in my hand. “TO THE CAR!” I scream. Pointing at the direction on outside.

“Chill, you are always hyper after you had that sugary stuff.” Derek said, chuckling.

I whip my head around to face him. “So,” I said dramatically. “What is your point?”

He just laughed and past me. “I call shotgun!” He took a few steps to my fancy black mustang and waited for me to push the button to unlock it.

“Beta gets shotgun.” I smile.

“That’s only because she is your best friend.” He glares at me.

I let him in the front seat and I hit the wheel. I started it up and waited for Devi and Erik to hop in.

We finally got into the building and all of us split up to go to our lockers. When I got to mine I put in my combination and got my books for the next few classes. I heard chatter in the halls but it died down and I turned to see what was going on. Mason and his group were all behind me.

“Hey,” Mason smiled at me.

‘Hello,” I looked at him.

What’s with the long face, sunshine?” He asked, brushing a piece of hair out of my face.

“Did you get your nicknames from Erik?” I smirked.

“Maybe I did, what’s it to you? They are my friends too.”

“You wish we all liked your mutts.” Devi giggled from beside me.

Everyone was staring now. I could see Sam getting annoyed. I waited for him to start screaming.

“You can all stop checking out the couple now. Don’t you guys have Lives?” Sam barked.

It went dead silent and then loud chatter started up. Devi made her way to him and slid her fingers through his long blond hair as he hugged her. “Calm down baby.” I heard her whisper in his ear.

“Why don’t you do anything sweet to me like that?” Mason pouts.

“Because you don’t need the satisfaction.” I laughed.

“It is so cute though.” He frowns.

I ignore his puppy dog face and turn to shut my locker. One I turned back around he pushed me gently against the lockers. I had no space and if I were to move, I would be up against Mason. I’ll just stay back to back with the lockers. Mason holds my face in his hands and smiled down at me. He had a good three feet on me. I was only five foot four he was about five foot seven.

Our faces were inches apart. I am was never used to teachers interrupting our little, whatever you want to call it, in the hall, or in the class for that matter. Mason always tried to make movesand the teachers ignored it. They ignored the whole pack. We did whatever we pleased. Why did we even go to school?

Mason moved in and pressed his lips against mine. I closed my eyes; my fingers were snagged on his waistband so I could pull him closer. He smiled against my lips and I knew he was pleased. His hands moved down to my butt and he pulled me in so I was touching him. I heard a cough and we split apart.

“Sorry to stop your make out session but we have to go to class.” Derek said.

Devi giggled with wild eyes. She knew it I didn’t try to talk my way out of it this time. I am always trying to tame Mason. We are mates, we were Alphas and I always had to remind him that it was all business. He was my mate though so sometimes I just let it go.

“You’re blushing.” Erik notified me and winked. “Things got heated, huh?”

“Shut up, it was forced.” I lied.

“That’s why your fingers were in his pants.” He wiggled his eyebrows.

“They were not!!!” I yelled.

“What then, did they get snagged on the inside of his waistband by accident?”

“Yes,” I glare, “Go to class!”

He had to obey so he went to his class. Mason led me to our first hour class. The day dragged on and on. It was finally time to actually go home. Devi took shotgun and I took her home. Now it was time to just sleep. I lay there almost passed out.
