Prologue
Eyes, sky blue with wisps of white in the iris. Soft, blond hair, skin so fair and clothes a perfect, stainless white. He smiled at the girl who was lying under the bridge in peasant clothing. She was afraid to reach out to such an outstanding creature.
He stretched his arm out to her and let his large, fluff, white wings come out of his back. She was extremely shocked and paralyzed by the fact that she was in the presence of an Angel.
He lost his smile and pulled his hand away, “Why won’t you take my hand?”
She looked down and saw his feathers falling off and disinigrating as they touch the ground, “I cannot. Why are you losing your feathers?”
“Tsk.” He gritted his teeth, “I’m just….special.”
The girl looked at the Angel in fear when she realized his hair turns to charcoal black and his clothes and wings turn into utter darkness. “You are…”
He laughed, “Just happened too. At least give me your name so I may come back to take you away with me.”
Without thinking, the girl told, “Evangeline.”
The dark angel kept his smile and looked at Evangeline, “Before I go, may I have a kiss?”
“That cannot be.”
“What do you mean?”
“This cannot happen. I am mere mortal and you are…A fallen Angel…”
“But why would that stop us?”
“Because you will kill me.”
