His gaze fell on the man bound in ropes before him pleading for his life. Pleading would do him no good. It wouldn't change the events soon to occur. It wouldn't change the man's heart. His mouth twitched as he tried not to laugh. Mercy was a bitch. It was a transparent lifeless emotion that gracefully fluttered her wings in the sky. Mercy was non-existent. There would be no help, no mercy. He ran his hand along the gun feeling its smoothness and power. Without the gun he was nothing. With the gun he was somebody. He was in control. Control of life and death. he kissed the gun and pulled the trigger. He loud a loud bang coming from the gun as the bullet quickly flew towards its victim. He grinned as he viewed the bullet come in contact with the man's skin. There was a eerie silence as the man fell to the ground. His blue eyes were wide open, full of fear and the loss of will to live. His blue eyes seemed to stare into his murderer's heart and soul. He bit his lip at the feeling of being vulnerable and naked. He swore in anger. He felt naked. He felt he had lost his protective shell. He pulled the trigger again and again savoring the control entering his system once more. He dropped the gun and sauntered towards the body lying in front of him. He bent down and felt a surge of adrenalin run through his body. He punched the lifeless form. It felt good. He kept punching the body over and over again. Mercy was a bitch. Hope was a figment of people's imagination. Only daft people believed in hope. Life was useless. It was a pain in the back. Death was a gift…a gift too good to be true.
