"Mom I know Christmas is next month. No I'm not sure if I want to come home for the holidays. I know it's been awhile mom. Okay I gotta go to work. Give my love to dad and yes to you too mom. Okay I will be careful mom. Okay Okay gotta go bye," snapping her cell phone Jennifer Larson hurried to the B & B building. Jennifer was the best advertising agent. She had moved to New York right after attending UCLA. Mr. and Mrs. Larson were very proud of their daughter and they made sure Jennifer knew it. As she stepped out of the elevator, her supervisor Craig Mallor called her into his office. "Jennifer you've been on the go for awhile now. Also I see you plan to work through the holidays. Don't you have family?" asked Mr. Mallor.

Jennifer smiled, "Yes Craig I do have parents and they live in Wyoming. I just don't want to miss anything and..." Before she could finish, Craig walked around the desk. "Look Jennifer you are the best I got, but sweetheart if you don't slow it down you will burn out. Why don't you take some time off. I'm pretty sure the place won't go belly up while you are gone. Besides work and sleep isn't healthy for a young and beautiful woman to subdue herself with," smiled Mr. Mallor. Jennifer sighed she had to admit that there wasn't anything exciting going on in her life. In fact Jennifer hardly dated. It seemed as if her world revolved around her job. "Okay Craig put me down for a leave of absense, but if anything happens you better darn well call me." Craig Mallor simply smiled and nodded.

Mr. and Mrs. Larson were thrilled when Jennifer called them about her coming home. "Oh honey don't you worry about a thing. We have renovated the house and you will love your bedroom," said Mrs. Larson. Jennifer smiled, "I'm sure it's lovely mom. Whose going to be picking me up?" That's when her father spoke up, "Honey don't fret yourself okay. Randy Lockland will be picking you up. I'm sure you remember him don't ya honey?" Jennifer remembered the young man all to well. He was the reason she left home. "Yes I remember Randy, does he work for you?" Mr. Larson told his daughter about Randy being his right hand man. After exchanging goodbyes, Jennifer let out a sigh. Randy Lockland broke her heart when she told him that she had a crush on him when they were both teenagers.
