The elderly woman standing by Chase’s side looked at Brenda in awe. Brenda stood there wearing a white silk gown. The dress hugged her curves not to mention the long slit on one side. A diamond choker completed the look. Soon men were bidding left and right. Even those who already had dates in their arms were bidding.
Brenda blushed and caught Chase’s eye. “She looks like a princess,” said the elderly woman. Chase smiled, “No she looks like a queen.” The elderly woman looked at Chase then at Brenda. She excused herself and within minutes a elderly gentleman was by her side. The gentlemen placed a bid that surpassed the rest of the bidders.
Mrs. Dimm was very excited and yelled sold. The gentleman went onstage and held out his hand. Brenda smiled and graciously accepted his hand. “You look stunning my dear,” complimented the gentleman. Thanking the man, Brenda was led to where Chase and the elderly woman were standing. “We believe you two know each other and we hope that you two have a wonderful night,” said the elderly woman.
