A Promise Made and A Promise Kept

Chase and Brenda looked at the elderly couple with a look of bewilderment. “We don’t understand, what’s going on here?” asked Chase. The couple laughed whole heartedly. Then the gentleman spoke,” My wife and I love coming to these events. When we see a couple so in love with each other, well lets just say we help the lovebirds get together.” The elderly woman took her husband’s arm, “I hope you two aren’t angry.”

Brenda quickly shook her head, “No it’s quite alright, I’m sure that we will have a wonderful time thank you.” The couple left Chase and Brenda standing in the middle of the room. Music began to play and couples began to dance. Chase looked at the stunning woman beside him. “May I have the pleasure of this dance?” Brenda nodded and was led to the dance floor.

All night Chase and Brenda danced in each other’s arms. “This has been the most magical evening I’ve ever had,” said Brenda. Chase bent down and kissed Brenda. “I couldn’t agree with you more.” It was well past two in the morning when Chase drove Brenda to her hotel. “I will see you later today in the mean time sweet dreams sweetheart.”
