Lily laughed, two sharp fangs reflecting off the window, lighting up the maroon room. I jumped a little, suprised. "That is just like you Violet. Only focusing on little parts" she said, grinning. "So, who's the lucky fella?" I said, wiggling my eyebrows. It suprised me how much happier I had become from just knowing the truth. It was easy enough to accept. Well a hell of a lot easier than accepting that your the daughter of the city drunk. "You know, it I had any human blood left, I would normally blush at that" she said. "His name is Renold. We met a year and a half ago" she said, her eyes lit ablaze with passion. I could tell she was in major love and it wasn't just from twin talepathy. I couldn't help but smile at how happy she seemed. "So is it true what they say about vampire guys?" I asked suggestively. She looked confused. "What do they say?" She asked. "That they're suave, smooth, charming, and not to mention gorgeous?" I asked, grinning like I hadn't in years. "Yeah, something like that" she said chuckling. "So come on, what does he look like?" I asked, nudging her. "Well...he's really tall, 7'7. He has shoulder length, red brown hair and light brown eyes. I met him when I went to pick up a key from a silversmith in the village. Oh we get along really great. Vy, you should meet him. He's so sweet and gentle" she said with hearts in her eyes. "Wow, I guess they really mean it when they say soulmates. He sounds like the perfect guy for you Lily" I said in astonishment. "They really do Vy, and we have so much in common. The wonderful thing about vampires is that there is always love in the air because half are human turned and half are originals. Everyone's so passionate about everything they do" she said, talking in a dreamlike voice. "It sounds wonderful" I said. "Oh it is. You'll really like it! Suprisingly enough for the realm of the supposedly damned, it's very peaceful" she said, practically glowing. "So, what are the originals anyway?" I asked, among my many questions I had to ask. "And here they come" Lily said, laying down next to me. "The originals are the vampires who are just put on this earth as vampires and stay that way. You'd think there'd be few of those but there are millions. There are way less human turned out there, but the population is growing everyday with vampires having kids and such" she explained. "Hmmm...interesting" I said, tapping my chin twice. "So we're like princesses or something right?" I asked, supressing a grin. Lily raised an eyebrow at me. "What part of heir don't quite you get?" She said laughing slightly. "Ok, ok, just making sure I get it. It's a lot to take in you know" I said, my head filling with curious thoughts. "I know, it's understandable. That's how it was for me, but you'll get into the swing of things real quick" she said, putting her arm around my shoulders comfortingly. "So where am I exactly?" I asked, my eyes wandering around the room that sorrounded us. It was a spacious place with maroon walls, the color of blood, my favorite color. It had a tall black wardrobe in the corner. There was black carpet with dark red outlining it. The bed that we were laying on was obviously king sized and had black silk sheets with a dark red comforter. There was a large vanity mirror on the wall and a door that I somehow knew led to a bathroom that would probably be nothing less than impressive. "This is your room Violet. There's not much in it because well, we thought that you'd want to pick out your own stuff" she said. I smiled, my eyes flashing wildly. The room was pretty much made for me. I didn't really need anything else. I loved lots of space. "It's perfect" I said breathlessly. "So I heard you talking and what was that about with that guy?" I asked. "Oh. Well the one I sent after you, Jordan, he had to bite you. Not nearly the same thing as turning you. He was only supposed to knock you out for the trip because it's not something any human can survive awake and he got way too close to turning you so I was kind of mad about it. I want you to have the same thing I do" she said, talking about Renold. "Yeah, well at least he came and brought me here. For that I can't be mad and he's one of my favorite people right now. Even though I don't know the guy" I said jokingly. "Yeah well, anyway. We're in the palace right now, so maybe you can go and explore if you want. Until mom and dad get here anyway" she said. "That sounds great. You want to come with?" I offered. "You know I want to spend a lot of time with you but I actually have some bussiness I have to take care of, so you just get a head start without me and I'll head up with you in a bit" she said. "Ok" I said shrugging. I wanted to spend some more time with her but it would be cool to just go and walk around and think for awhile. I stood up to find myself still in my clothes from the last time I was awake. "How long have I been asleep?" I asked, walking over and looking in the vanity mirror. My hair was slightly messy and my clothes were disheveled. "Just over night," she paused, walking over and standing next to me. I still only saw me in the reflection. "Soon enough you'll be gone too" she said mystically. She had always loved mirrors so I could see why her lack of reflection in them would rattle her. "Anyway, just look in the wardrobe and you'll find more suitable clothes that I'm positive you'll like. Kind of like mine" she said, gesturing to her shimmering emerald hooded robe and dark purple spagetti strapped dress underneath. "I like" was all I said. She left the room with a laugh. "I knew you would."
