Note: If you haven't read Raspberry Blood, I highly suggest you do before you read this one.

He's gone....He's gone.....He's gone. This kept repeating in my head. This was the thought that kept repeating in my head since the day he left three months ago. There was a huge empty hole which only his precense could fill. There was nothing keeping me going anymore. All I knew was that another person I loved had left me, good intentions or not. I had confined myself to my room, feeling that it was pointless to try and go about my days without him. I knew I wouldn't be able to do it. I was an empty shell held together by agony and hopelessness. Lily tried every week to try and get me out but she should have known from the beginning, her efforts were futile. Finally after a month or so, she only visited me with food and such at times. I usually didn't eat much of it. I was never very hungry anymore. Elleanora came and visited me daily. I liked her visits the most because she didn't spend the whole time trying to force me to move on. She just talked about regular strange Elleanora stuff like usual. Most of the time, she would stay with me the whole day. One day, I spoke to her. Just once, the only words that had passed from my lips since Jordan had left.

"Why do you spend all your time in here when you could be doing other things?" I asked. "You were there for me during my time of need and kindness is always returned" was all she said. She never presured me to talk and sometimes she'd bring in books to read or something to entertain herself. She understood that it was nice to just have some company sometimes. Obviously my parents had no idea what was wrong with me. They never seemed to be around long enough anyway. That's ok though because it's better than having abusive parents who were around all the time. Besides, it was quite apparent that I didn't have anything to say to them for obvious reasons. It was a day like any other. Three months he had been gone. I assumed by now that if he had been gone this long, he wasn't coming back. Still, there was part of me that worried about him. If he was gone this long, maybe it was because something bad had happened to him. I would have gone after him right after he left but I had no idea where he was going or what he was doing and either no one would tell me or no one knew. Besides that, I was still only human. I don't know how well I'd survive trying to do who knows what who knows where. Laying on my bed did get quite old after awhile but I just didn't have the strength to get up. I was tired. Just tired. I hadn't seen Elleanora since lunch but she said she'd be back later and I believed her. It was night outside now. The window was had been my eyes main interest. Laying on my back the whole time was a big help with that. When the door creaked open, I imediately picked up on it when the sound broke through the silence. One good thing about this whole experience is that my hearing is now impecable. I can hear someone coming from all the way on the other side of the castle, which is wierd but handy. It's just from focusing on only hearing and nothing else. It was Elleanora, I could tell by the way the steps against the carpet crunched it only lightly. I felt her light weight crush the sheets close to wear I lay. I didn't bother to look over at her, she knew I was awake. Then she said the first thing that sparked life in me since he left.

"I know where Jordan is."

I let out a sharp breath and shot up quickly. My eyes flashed to her with just a little bit of hope that had been burried so deep within so many rocky shores of the seas running through my concious.

"Well not exactly, I mean, I just talked to my mother and she said that one of the waiters was talking about hearing Lily and Renold talking in their room. Apparently, Jordan's been sent off to Lidea" she said, looking really nervous even just mentioning it. My eyes narrowed.

"Why would he have to go to the demon realm?" I asked, my voice now leaving it's monotone state. She shook her head, her eyes sliding closed. Finally she sighed as I was starting to get impatient.

"The realms royals form the world's counsel. It's made up of your parents, the demon king Krozac, the high priestess Jaqueline of the Angel realm, and the Queen of the elves, Clara. The ghosts have no royals and even if that were not the case, they wouldn't be welcomed anyway. So, over the past few years, the council's been dealing with an important issue and it's more stressfull than ever now and that's why your parents are gone so often. They are discussing rather or not the ghosts should be free. High priestess Jaqueline, the kindest spirit of the bunch, suggested a treaty in the name of the ghosts which they would all signature. Therefor, it would make it a law in every realm that all ghosts must be free and can no longer be slaves. Everyone thought it was the best idea. Everyone except Krozac. The demons get most of their work done using ghost slaves and he was anything but willing to give that right up so everyone signed, except him. The council has been trying to convince him but finally he refused to meet with them at all and said his decision was final. They cannot pass the treaty without Krozac's signature and so everyone has been in turmoil. Krozac has always been obsessed with power and posession. The demons are the most ruthless and cold hearted of us all. They believe everything is theirs to take and they use brute force to take it. It's their specialty, but brain stability is one of the many things a lot of them lack. Either way, that was what they sent Jordan to do. Convince Krozac to sign. It is the most dangerous task for anybody to take and your parents gave it to him to prove that he is strong and smart enough to protect you" she finished, quietly. But I still heard. My blood was boiling. My parents gave my one love a task that would pretty much mean throwing yourself to the sharks, and Lily. Lily didn't tell me when she knew all this time. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath while trying to control my anger. Then it was decided. Right then and there. "I'm going to find him. Now."
