If my tune should beat
to your melody and meet
somewhere between Venus and Mars
If my dream drew your dream
into a stream
somewhere amongst the stars
well then two hearts
would beat
to a melody sweet
no longer your's, mine, but
OUR'S
Will we know when we meet
that we're just one heart beat,
that met between Venus and Mars?
Somewhere the melody kept us in tune
in a dreamland under the stars

Katie this is such a Fantastic and beautifull poem.....It made me smile and the flow was really great you have excelled yourself yet again...... well, this is so beautiful it just skips off the tongue. your rhyme and structure is perfect. For me it’s a song to sing when your walking home early in the morning after a beautiful romantic night with someone special. It gives me the sense of soul mates. That somewhere up there in that stream of stars we all have a perfect opposite waiting. It’s as though we are a broken star in life and one day we will find the other half to make us whole again. We we’re split at the big bang, but soon we will find our star, our place in the universe!!
