Electric butterfly buzz and veil,
Currents surging in the night.
Your lips trembling in ecstasy
Together
Blowing out the candle.

We climbed your highest civilization
And sold it on DVD,
But this pirated affair
Is full of waves and heaving blossoms and yargs!

Your symmetry on YouTube
Gone wild in your chaste.
Awake the city lights
Awake the turbid prophecy.

Under the grace of yearning
Licking the sanctity of lust,
And your perfume
The only excuse I need to swim beside you.

Oh my god...those last two lines will stick with me for some time.

secret - I have no clue why this turned me on...but it did. (don't tell anyone)(yarg!)

I think I read this 10 times. I hope you shared it with who you were thinking of when writing....incredible power in this little symphony once it settles, turbid not.

Cool, coming from a fellow writer, this is encouraging.

Just found this one. It is indeed very sensual - in the way sensual should be, not spelling it out but by using beautiful burning words and phrases and images. Brilliant ending, that intoxicating perfume has already wafted across to the reader. I like it a lot.
