On the sidewalk of Lambert street

We stand, between us just about two feet

So close yet you feelt so far away
Silence takes place for we both have nothing more to say
It was our last goodbye
I wasn't sure if the love between us shall die
You were to leave for good this time
I was meant to lose one more person as simple as losing a dime
I try holding my tears behind
I knew the moment you'd turn around I would break down
I wanted to tell you how much I still loved you
But never got the chance to give you that red heart I once drew
As I moved my way to the other side of the road
I felt my feet turn me around for the last time so your hand I could hold
I get a side glance of your left beautiful warm blue eye
Your lips is where my lips want swiftly to lie
Whilst my salty tears pour unceasingly
Like the Niagara falls I once got to see
This was our last kiss under the rain
But this was it, we separated again
Thou art gone, but in mine heart you're still the sun.
