We pass by in the hallway
Time slows as we catch each other's eye
And my heart begins to race
But you keep walking
Reality crashes in
Like a rock thrown through a window

You,
So perfect and flawless
Like the beautiful winter blanket in December
The type of guy Cinderella ends up with
Me,
That girl in the crowd that always seems to disappear,
When I'm right in front of you

Does the story always have to play this way?
Would it be so terrible for our two worlds to join?
What if we just tried?
If we were more than you and me
Maybe it would all be better,
If we were finally Us
