What can I do?
You make me love you.
Somehow, some way,
Every day I think about you.
No matter how hard I try,
I can’t forget you,
Or stop loving you.
Even though you might not care,
I want to be with you.
Sometimes I don’t think you know I’m there,
Looking to you for answers.
My love for you may not be returned,
But I can’t help it.
What can I do?
It seems as though I can’t do anything.
I can’t do anything to let you know how I feel.
I can’t do anything to stop myself before I fall again.
I can’t make you love me,
Because I want you to be happy.
But I wish you felt the same way.
Maybe there’s hope,
I just don’t know.
You can’t see me in the crowd,
Among the others.
To you I am just another face,
Just another person in your way.
But, what can I do?
I am just one person,
Nothing special.
But I wish that we could be together,
Even as friends.
Sometimes I’m sorry I love you,
Because I don’t want to give you this burden.
