A kiss.

His hand catches my hair as it flutters in the wind.

Eyes as blue as forget-me-nots and just as beautiful stare at mine.

He tucks the wayward strand of hair behind my ear.

I let my hand linger on her cheek.

He rests his hand on my shoulder, slightly cupping my neck.

She licks her lips ever so lightly.

I lean in.

Those eyes are closer now.

He moves his hand to the back of my neck.

She's warm.

I lower my eyelids.

Her eyes are closed, lashes leaving shadows on her cheeks.

My heart beats faster. Is that?

I touch my lips to hers.

It's warm and moist.

We part.

I look at his eyes.

I return her gaze.

And then we kiss again.
