The Lady Grey turns her head

But doesn't notice his stare; love embed

When she turns away, he sighs relief

But can't seem to sigh away his grief

He knows that she could never love him

For she is like the loveliest of hymns

Gentle flight she takes as a sparrow

None can harm her; no force could alter her tempo

For if you should try you would undoubtedly fail

And his love for the lady, forever prevail

If anything be-fall her, he knows he would save

Even if it meant for him to enter his grave

For still, his love for the Lady Grey would endure

For love, there is no simple cure

Day by day, his love would stay

Though she never saw him anyway

That's the beauty of love untold

When push comes to shove, you will be so bold

You have nothing to lose for if you perish, you remain

But to stand idly by is to perish all the same
