Yes
No
Maybe
You say you love me
But do you
Even though I say I love you
Do you love me
Like I love you
Or am I an annoyence
Something for you to get rid of
But you would never say this
Because you are the cat
and I am the mouse you play with
You beguile my senses
with your playful eyes
And chime like voice
And then I ask myself something
Do I care about YOU?
And I know the answer
It is as simple as breathing
And maybe even more natural than that
I do
And always would
Even if I seem to keep you
At arms lengths
But I do
This is 'cause I care
Not because I don't
I'm afraid Of being seen
And being hurt
By not just you
But the whole world
