Never Let You Go

Your sweet-smelling breath-

That heavenly aroma,

Washes over me,

Makes me feel secure,

It finds me when I'm lost

Your hair as soft as silk-

That beautifully crafted texture,

Slides through my hands,

Heals my rough and worn skin,

Making me feel young forever

Your wonderful warm smile-

That instrument of comfort,

Makes me smile too,

Grabbing at my heart,

Teaching meto find true joy

Your eyes deep as the sea-

Those endless symbols of peace,

Stare deep into myself,

Finding a place to rest,

At the bottom of my soul

Your lips completely luscious-

That daring, full, rich color,

Begs me to come closer,

To touch you, hold you, kiss you

And never let you go.
