But for now,
I sit in silent wonder,
Staring, the sentence I was saying forgotten,
the heads of my friends turn,
as you walk into the room,
You look like a god today,
a few of your friends follow you,
like loyal servants at your side,
You see me and smile that secret little smile,
I smile back, I know just what you're thinking,
You make an excuse to your friends and then leave,
I wait for a few minutes,
it seems like eternity before the minutehand goes around
the clock!
I make up some excuse about missed homework and
leave, I am going to my locker, you pull me into
an empty classroom, we laugh and kiss,
We talk for a bit,
but you silence me with a quick kiss,
We both know that this is wrong,
that we shouldn't be together,
but, we are, and it's great,
Soon, we will tell our friends about us,
But for now, let's just keep this between us,
Soon the world will try and tear us apart,
But for now, we are in love,
But for now, we are together!
