Confusion
Deliriously happy one moment,
Sulking in my solitude,
Mad at the world, the next,
I must be completely out of my mind,
To have fallen as hard and as fast,
As I did for you,
But here I am,
Trapped in torrid flirtations,
And mixed messages,
We thrive in confusion,
Don't we, my darling?
We are madly in love,
With the inky black abyss,
the sweet chaotic desire
Of the unknown,
Seductive and puzzling,
We are seduced by not knowing,
By unspoken answers,
And questions never asked,
We are drawn by it,
We thrive not in love,
But in confusion!
