Crashed
I was moving fast,
Never felt the blast,
‘Til it was too late,
It’s a fickle thing, this phenomenon called fate,
Running at the speed of light,
One day I stopped, it just felt right,
No one heard my screams as the black lightning flashed,
I never fell for you, I crashed,
And burned,
I was completely turned,
To your direction,
Lost, in your reflection,
Endlessly, Hopelessly, lost,
Too wrapped up in you, to care about the cost,
I will pay anything for just a slice,
Of your time, name your price,
I would give up anything,
To be your everything,
But all I am is scorned,
You think I would have learned,
Helpless, as my world just clashed,
I never fell for you, I crashed!
