Restless, once more,
Staring at the red plastic,
That is my cell phone,
Silent, and waiting,
Alas, it might as well be Fisher Price,
A child’s toy,
For it just sits there,
I receive no call,
no text from you,
I can not tell you how good you make me feel,
If you were here with me,
Right this very moment,
I would be more than willing to show you,
I have given you more than I have ever given,
Before,
This is wrong,
But my foolish heart
Absolutely must have more,
Stolen glances,
Forbidden kisses,
Yesterday when we were kissing,
I stopped,
You smiled and replied,
"That’s not all you want,"
You were right,
I wanted
So much more!
‘Til again we meet, I remain,
happily enthralled,
Waiting,
To give,
To take,
So much more!
