We pass the corner every time we step outside
Pretending that we never had anything to hide
Because that's the place where our memories grow.
& It's so empty when you're not here with me
Desolate and barren and dangerous like the sea
And at times I do believe it's going to overflow.
And now when we no longer go there for each other
My mind melts everytime I remember that summer
And the times where I was lost in the afterglow.
So today I passed and embraced the very earth
Because the corner gave me a reason for rebirth
And I still leave there with nothing else to show.
But the corner will always be my lifeline
For all those days I spend searching for a sign
That you have those memories and you'll never let them go.
