I wonder why I wake up
Why I face the day
I guess I just go along with it
Hoping the pain will go away
I know I’m not the only one
Living with a broken heart
Yet I feel so selfish when I ask
If what we had was true love
There’s no doubt about it was
So why did I lie to her?
About something so serious
But I still love her
In time she will move on
And with her so shall I
Though it will be hard
My love will stay strong
