holding you so tight
my every thought is full of you

it helps me through the long lonely night.

i kiss my fingers then touch your lips
on the picture at my bedside
as i whisper '' i love you''
and close my eyes
i feel you by my side .

through my window
i see the stars
they carry my love
to where you are
the man in the moon
smiles at me
he can see
how beautiful you are .

on my stereo
and i am dancing with you
we are swaying nice and slow
the kind of dance
true lovers know
i whisper '' i love you so ''
and i could waltz across texas with you .
