Tranquility In Pain

Poetry By: dynamic12

Recently I read a poem of my friend on Booksie, which inspired me to write this poem. I Hope you'll like this.

I'm finding tranquility in pain;

And unique pleasure in being insane.

To remember you again and again;

Is simply not going to be in vain.

Your memories refreshed;

My heartbeat suppressed;

Just out of water I feel like a fish;

By reading that melancholic piece

It generates a different kind of feeling

Reading, rereading,

Reading, rereading,

Brings your images alive,

With my eyes made blind.

Oh! The tranquility of a different kind!

The Pain so inevitable;

The pain so incredible;

Knowing well that pain is still a pain!

Now flowing through my veins;

Now old memories are a flood,

Pumping my heart with emotional blood

Filling me with pleasurable insanity

And so much pain in tranquility.
