Unbearable Absence

Where were you, my darling?

Where were you?

In your search my eyes forgot to blink

Your absence made my heart just sink.

The whole week of disappearance

Tested my already waning patience.

You're opium dose; I need you everyday.

You're a beautiful rose; your visuals make my day.

Now that you came back

I can breathe back to life.

Without your presence I felt like

Slashing my vein with sharp knife.

Now my entire being can dance inside

Forgetting life's every strife.

Now that I can see you before my eyes

It's like I've found my lost paradise.
