Somewhere high above the earth
two doves the currents are sailing
singing a beautiful song of rebirth
the setting sun seems to be hailing
The song moves through the wind and the trees
the rustling and the clicking
of the branches as they sway in peace
and joyous wonder singing
High above the starlit sky
a full round moon is watching
as the joyous song of Valentine's day
brings to life emotions hidden
The flaring of hearts on that blessed day
brings the desire to raise
our voices in a joyous way
May St. Valentine be praised
The rainbow of love from each paired in two
brings a joy with the power to transform
the darkest heart into warmth and light
and the tears shed in a painful mourn.
