It’s the wierdest feeling
A pinching twenge
When you realise
You’re just kinda
Over it.
It’s like the butterflies
All die away
The nerves
Shot to hell.
Emotions drowning out.
And for that person,
The one who hurt you,
Or walked away,
Or kinda never left,
You no longer feel anything.
It’s a new feeling
It hurts so good
The clarity that is
It’s the wierdest feeling
A pinching twenge
When you realise
You’re just kinda
Over it.
