YOU ARE NOT ME
Copyright (c) Victor Darnell Hadnot
Just because you are not who I thought,
Doesn’t make you a bad person. In fact,
I’m not who you thought. So, are we even?
Just because you are lonely, doesn’t mean that
You should die. I’m lonely and I just cry. If you
See me across the waves, do you swim to me?
Do I swim away? I can’t be happy without you. I
Can’t sing about you. But, sadness is part of
Life. Giving up is part of death. But, we all give up
The ghost at some point in time. If I tell you I love
You. I really mean it. Do you? No. You are not
Me. And that is why I love you.
