Love Blossom

Poetry By: Houcine Ncib

This poem is a story of two lovers in which they planted a blossom, but after their death the blossom has grown up to testify to their love ...

It was before the moon hides up and goes away

And just before the dawn appears after the night

The dawning dew is wetting it with freshness spray

The blossom looks tremendous though it's plainly slight

Someday it will grow up to testify their love

They were together all these years but now they left

They left the flower lonesome laid between their graves

It seems like all the other smaller sprouts were cleft

Instead one lovely loyal bloom belongs to braves

It will remain alive as long as there is care

The lord has shaped it thus superb with perfection

The bud has grown to complete and gives us the flair

To tell the truth about this great and huge affection

The blossom felt so sad after the lovers gone

They moved above to live inside the Paradise

We ought to know that love is such a costly Prize

Or everybody will forever live alone
