“Come lay with me”
He said
“I love you”
But I caught him in a lie
like our precious gems of winter forming
from the dance lights in his eyes
the collapse of our passion season
is water falling off a tree
like the vivid shells
of this separate marrow
hes opened up my body cavity
and stolen my heart away from me
whisper anything
im trembling
im begging with my mind
say say something ugly please
all this noise is pink and white
moving like a ribbon underwater
he shakes me like the sea
this all too obvious emotion
tearing pretty tied up bows through me
oh my master of illusion
come and sleep by me
this evil hour
is a pretty flower
when did I become this weak
dripping with this hot red menace
and im weighed down with fatigue
like a bullet forcing through the skin and bones
he doesn’t want me to see
their song comes on and im a wreck
im like a cliché boring poem
please please
don’t take me home.
I don’t ever wanna move again
I don’t ever wanna forget
