I wish
That he
Could look
At me
The way other guys
Look at their girls
Sometimes
I wish
That he
Would kiss me
Like he meant it,
Like I'm the best thing in the world
Sometimes
I wish
That he
Could be
More
Than just a friend should
Sometimes
I wish
That he
Could love me
More than he loves common sense
And morality
But
It's stupid
To keep wishing
Because I know
That he
Will never want me
The way I wish he could
