They keep fluttering, moving, dancing in my tummy

Even before the words come to life they dangle in the air like bright and beautiful stars in a warm night sky

We both lay there, anticipating the response of the other, not sure of whom should speak first

Neither wants the negative response that we are so accustomed to

'I love you' he says shyly

Fireworks go off in my mind and the fluttering in my tummy becomes faster

I kiss him as deeply and passionately as I can

'I love you, too' I voice with a smile, hardly moving a centimeter from his lips

I feel him smile too and everything is right in our little world
