Watching the sun rising from the east;
As the sunlight touches the earth with a kiss;
The nature’s beauty is bared naked;
In the eyes of those who are not blind to see;
The heavenly place is flaunted before me;
Garden of Eden with the sight beyond compare;
Beautiful buds bursting into flower;
Silently showing the fullness of life;
This ground where I step on---
Mirrors my own.
* * *
Looking back through years that passed;
When life was overshadowed with angst;
I’d see by the blind’s eyes;
Not seeing through the light;
Days of darkness fell upon my world of sight;
Then there you were;
Like my own sun shining from nowhere;
You shared me your light;
Without you noticing it;
Without you realizing it.
* * *
Now, look what I have become!
A wonderful person is all I am;
The beauty of life is revealed;
You are my light, you are my sun;
You are somebody, you are the one!
I wonder if you get to see me the way I see you;
I wish I could be your sun too;
Where I could sense your joy in my presence;
Where we could be the reflection of each other’s inner beauty;
