Wear my heart on my sleeve, through the heat wave and the blitz of breeze,
Open for everyone to see, weather I’m by the sea or on top of a mountain,
I’m bleeding, bleeding fountains
Look past the smile, if my heart had legs, right now it’s on it’s knees
I can change the environment, but it will have no impact on my climate
Burning with hurt, hurt by the burning, I’m on fire
Thoughts of you, burn me with a yearning desire
You can put the fire out, but that, you’d never contemplate
All I did was love, but now I’m serving a sentence
25 years life, shit, I’m doing eternity
On a basic, 24hr lock up, mentally
I’m serving time, life, while u just gave me a false pretence
Desperation turned to depression, which concluded as disgust
I gave u my heart, but u wiped me away like I was dust
You replaced my smile with cuts and bruises
It’s a deceiving world, the one who wears his heart on his sleeve, looses.
