HIM

Gentle kisses flying on my face

And slowly I wake up

Sprouting beard so masculine

Butterfly kisses just won't stop

I gazed unto the expressive eyes

Of my exclusive lover

And realized so many things

About my children's father

The man who lies beside me

Built this nest as our home

With his strength I cling upon to

His commands become my dome

He is the roof that covers

From heat and storm or rain

With sweat and smell he worked hard

He resisted all the pain

To the altar he earnestly vowed

In the merciful eyes of the Lord

That forever he will love me

In a never ending cord

In the cradle of my womb

He sowed seeds of life

The cocoon of infant beating

I am a mother and his wife

Outside he looks hard and firm

And appears stern and distant

But with my cry and suffering

I become the most important

His hands toil without a rest

From home so far for labor

So we can pay the many bills

And food set on the table

His comfort is to see us all

With our smiling faces

What tears his heart is hearing

Trash complains and all distresses

His laughter is the music

His children play along

And I complete the meaning

Of his melodious song

But sometimes it gets into him

All worries and life's troubles

And so I have to come as soon

Before he breaks to rubbles

I tell him all provisions

All the happiness he brings

And that together in this battle

We would endure all sufferings

And in this magic moment

I'm bewitched of my behalf

Caught by the enchantment

In the mystery of love!
