My heart, Your smile

Poetry By: JAW

Again this is part of my re-discovered writing from when I was maybe 11/12. I don't remember much about this one, I'm guessing it was after watching some cheesy tween romance or reading a book. I can relate more to it know though!

My heart, Your smile
My heart is yours
Why can't you see
I'm perfect for you
And you for me
I watch and smile
My friends say I stare
I would disagree
But I really don't care
I love your laugh
Your manner, your smile
I know it sounds cheesy
For you I'd run a mile
And you don't say it
But still I can tell
Your heart belongs to her
On that I won't dwell
My heart is yours
I wish you would see
I'm perfect for you

And you for me
