The Rise and Fall of Love

A world of fake emotion and empty people,

hearts being bound by their own fear.

Just sitting back, wanting to take the chance,

but afraid of the downfall and depression of failure.

Seeing her face, her smile, her beauty in my mind.

wanting to hear her voice, touch her skin.

I cant,?I wont, its over now.

A?constant fire in the back of my mind,

Where i sit and try to become warm.

Still im freezing.

The light keeps fading in the distance,

will i let it go.

i cant, its my love, its my heart, its my soul.

if it burns out, i'll be extinguished.

Days are fine, but the nights, the absence of illumination,

throwing me deeper and deeper into a cave of unwanted emotion

but with every suset comes a sunrise, with every tear comes a smile.

i will move on, i will grow strong, BUT I WILL NEVER FORGET

The Rise and Fall of Love
