I wrote this last year and I don't particularly like it but here goes.

I'm a torn love letter
You're sticky tape
No, super glue
You fix me
Mend my ripped edges
Love my unlovable
You sing songs and whisper poems in the dark
Stars; we lay under them
And you tell me you wish you could get inside my head
Why? I wonder
For inside my brain is nothing worth looking at
My walls are high
My heart like a maze
An unsolvable puzzle
A mystery
A question mark
You are a soldier
You are my knight in shining armour
You are the guy in the coffee shop
Asking about the book I'm reading
Great Expectations, I tell you
A book title as well as a perfect description of us
