In Love
I lay awake at night,
He sleeps beside me unaware.
I long to feel his touch.
The tears run down my face,
I wonder does he care.
I am in love with a man,
Who doesn't love me.
Looking up at the sky,
The stars are all aglow.
I think to myself,
Why don't you leave him?
Why don't you go?
I am in love with a man,
Who doesn't love me.
I realize how he is,
He uses me for his own selfish needs.
Sex, money, companionship,
Lust, worries and dreams.
On his own selfishness he feeds.
I am in love with a man,
Who doesn't love me.
I sit up watching him sleep,
Wondering what to do.
Should I end this suffering?
Just get up and walk away,
The decision is up to you.

I am in love with a man,

Who doesn't love me.
