I watched the show like a true fan
But you stole my attention
And you blew my mind like a rock star.
I was messy and concerned
But you held me in your arms.
Your fingers through my hair said it all
And before I knew it
I fell in love with you [again].
With the whisper of a heartbeat
I laid on your chest
And drew this moment in my mind.
Days and years could pass me by
But I'd care nothing of the time
As long as I could grow old with you.
So meet me again tonight
Beneath a darkened sky
And let me know you're mine
So I can wear a heart around my neck
And smile.
